Joost de Moor
Joost de Moor joined PartiRep as a PhD candidate in September 2012, after graduating as an anthropologist from KULeuven. His research focus is on political activists and political opportunity structures in the context of global governance. The aim is to explain how such opportunities may help explain the targets and tactics activists choose. Special interest goes out to the environmental and climate change movement, the peace movement, and the squatting movement. His methodological focus is on the integration of qualitative and quantitative methods in case-study designs. He has forthcoming publications on squatting in International Journal of Urban and Regional Research and on political participation in Parliamentary Affairs.
